Parenting for Programmers
There are a million books out there about parenting. Tips and tricks for the average new parent to try and prep them for the journey that is ahead. But I haven't seen one that really spoke my language, so I decided to try and write it.
I've been programming in Java and Javascript in one form or another for going on 15 years now, and have been a father for just under 5. I wanted to try and pair the two studies together and use generic programming concepts to explain interfacing with your child.
Topics Include:
* Agile vs. Waterfall methodologies in Parenting Styles
* Relying on Documentation and Importing External Libraries
* Complexity of Instructions
* Loops
* Mapping functions
* If/Then/Else
* Debugging
* and much more
You'll also receive a list of some of my top go-to activities with my kiddo, so that I always have something to do when I need to "pull from the backlog" for impromptu fun.
This is in no way the entirety of parenting explained. I can't provide that form of documentation.
This is merely the ReadMe to get you started on your own journey.
Make sure to fork my ideas and take the implementation in a way that you see fit.
